About Me

My family was transferred to Hampton Roads in the late 60’s via the Navy. We decided to stay and call this beautiful coastline of the Chesapeake Bay “home.”

Growing up along the tributaries of the Chesapeake Bay (known as Ches Bay to locals) has led me to greatly appreciate our local agriculture and seafood industries. I am passionate about the health and well-being of our land and waterways.

I was born in Portsmouth Naval Hospital and am proud to call myself a native. My degree is based in Hospitality Management. I have been blessed to work in some of the finest, chef-owned restaurants in our area. The industry has allowed me to raise my two grown children in a flexible home-school environment, both who are now onto successful careers of their own.

My whole life is etched with memories on the bay, and I spend as much time possible creating even more to this day.
